Chip has light-brown fur, pointed dark-gray ears with tufts of light-brown fluff inside, a dark-gray muzzle with a star pattern, a gray-topped tail, and a triangular pink nose. He has shiny cyan eyes. He wears a red collar with a golden bone pendant and a turquoise police hat with a golden badge topped with a flashing red siren.

- This breed is known to accompany police officers in the real world, hence his police attire.
